What We Do
Our service is aimed at providing homes for tenants in the nine local government areas of Auburn, Baulkham Hills, Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Parramatta, Ryde, Warringah and Willoughby. We originated in Ryde, and as we have grown we have progressively expanded our housing services in these neighbouring areas.
We are a community based, nonprofit housing provider whose primary objective is to provide secure and affordable accommodation to people on low incomes or with special needs.
To achieve this we engage in two essential activities. These are:
- Tenancy and housing management services designed to provide secure and affordable housing to current tenants within our housing portfolio together with assisting applicants find affordable housing where possible .
- Growth initiatives via lease, ownership or other arrangements dedicated to increasing the availability of affordable housing within local communities.
Our business plan describes the strategies, risks, asset maintenance and financial management planning we undertake to build on our past growth and take us forward as a sound, ethical and well governed organisation.
Who We Help
Our service is aimed at providing homes for tenants in the seven Local Government areas of Auburn, Baulkham Hills, Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Parramatta, Ryde and Willoughby. We originated in Ryde, and as we have grown we have expanded to accept opportunities in these neighbouring areas. Their proximity allows us to continue to cost effectively manage housing and assist tenants within a reasonable distance from our office in Ryde.
In addition to people on low incomes, we help people with special needs and in these cases we enter service agreements with support agencies who can assist these people to live in the home we provide for them.
